Rockin' the Globe T-shirt Sales
Rockin' the Globe T-shirt sales are now on sale for $10.00 each.  T-shirts will be sold every morning before classes begin for the next week or so under the covered driveway in front of the main school building.  Students who purchase a Rockin' the Globe shirt may wear it to school in lieu of their regular uniform shirt this Friday, March 14, and again on Friday, April 4, and Friday, April 18.   Come get 'em while their hot and support the SSC Booster Club as they pursue "Adventures in Asia!"

Varsity Track & Field
On Friday the Varsity Track team competed in Biloxi. Top winners were as follows.  Dale Johnson 1st in Discus/3rd in shot; Ian Larsen 1st in High Jump/1st in 300 meter Hurdles; Briou Bourgeois 3rd in Pole Vault; Matthew Mayeaux 4th in 1600 meter run; Geon Yoo 2nd in 100 meter High Hurdles. 

Tennis
Following a 2-1 match record in last weekend’s competition, the tennis team also competed yesterday afternoon, defeating Poplarville in a district meet.  Henderson Hewes and the doubles team of Jake Fusia and Charlie Pritchard remain undefeated on the year so far.

Junior High Track & Field
The Junior High Track & Field team did well in their first meet of the year last week in Gulfport. Tim Flynn won first place in the Shot Put and the Discuss. David Skladzien took second in both of those events as well. Dane Knight and Josh Gibson took first and second in the Pole Vault and 1600m Relay Team of Jesse Hearin, Cody Acosta, Sagar Patel, and Corbin Thomas place second. Other notable finishes were Noah Anderson placed 3rd and 5th in the 200m and 100m Hurdles respectively. Sawyer Danielson placed 5th in the 1600m run while Bennett Holland placed 6th.

Congratulations to Senior Evan Cranford, who was selected to participate in the Mississippi Association of Coaches All-Star Soccer Showcase held on June 14th at Hinds Community College.
